1/12/08 - The first reported foal sired by grade I winner Lion Tamer was born Jan. 12 at T.J. Dickie's farm near Baton Rouge, La.
The newborn colt is out of the winning Autocracy mare Auto Be Del, whose dam is Louisiana champion B. J.'s Delta Pro.
A millionaire, Lion Tamer (Will's Way—Tippecanoe Creek, by Olympio) scored his big win in the Cigar Mile Handicap (gr. I) and ran third in the TVG Breeders' Cup Sprint (gr. I).

9/6/06 - CLEAR CREEK STUD ANNOUNCES LION TAMER’S FEE
Grade 1 winning millionaire LION TAMER retired to stand the 2007 breeding season at Clear Creek Stud, L.L.C. in Folsom, Louisiana. LION TAMER’S stud fee will be $5,000.00 stand and nurse or $4,500.00 if paid by September 1 of year bred. LION TAMER, a multiple graded stakes winner of 8 races with earnings of $1,000,727.00 won the 2004 (Gr.1) Cigar Mile at age 4 in 133.46. LION TAMER defeated a stellar field in the (Gr. 1) Cigar Mile which included Badge of Silver, Pico Central, Purge, During, etc. LION TAMER was last seen racing in the colors of Michael Tabor in the (Gr. 1) TVG Breeders Cup Sprint last fall where the Todd Pletcher trainee finished a troubled third to Silver Train, and a Taste of Paradise.

5/25/06 - MILLIONAIRE GR. 1 WINNER LION TAMER PURCHASED
Lion Tamer a multiple graded stakes winner of 8 races with earnings of $1,000,727.00 has been purchased privately with the help of bloodstock agents Matt Bowlings and Jamie Lamonica. The winner of the 2004 Cigar Mile (Gr.1) at age 4, and a troubled third in the TVG Breeders Cup Sprint (Gr.1) last fall has been acquired with the intention to stand Lion Tamer at stud for the 2007 breeding season. No decision has been made as to where Lion Tamer may stand.
In winning the Cigar Mile while racing in the colors of Michael Tabor, the Todd Pletcher trained Lion Tamer, defeated a stellar field which included Badge of Silver, Pico Central, Purge, During, etc.
